We're all in 'The Club'

Yesterday was International Left-Handers Day, today is A-Level Results Day. A left turn, can still lead to the right destination.

We're all in 'The Club'

Yesterday was the one day of the year when we left-handers are celebrated for surviving in a world designed by right-handers. A world where scissors and computer mice seem deliberately awkward, and spiral-bound notebooks are nearly useless.

They say we left-handers are in touch with the right hemisphere of our brains, the one often linked with creativity. It’s a proud heritage: Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Beethoven, Jimi Hendrix, Bill Gates, Barack Obama, and a surprisingly large number of US presidents and British monarchs, all lefties.

We’re in a bit of a club, us lefties.
