An encouraging, rousing approach. The idea of becoming ready, being ready, the hopeful expectation and the social holiness described by Paul in his letter to the Romans. We really should be 'on the edge', whilst also using Advent to check our readiness.

I shared with Mat how I had seen this sense of urgency during a recent reflection of Deuteronomy 4:32-39 but in particular this:
